Thomas has an argument with one of his friends over beliefs and acceptance and in this video, he is deciding whether or not there is such a thing as a healthy distraction. His logical side fights for the fact that a distraction to take his mind off of the situation can help make it clear to him how it actually is, while his anxiety side is fighting, saying that he shouldn’t have skipped the party just because his friend he had a fight with would be there.

With a large argumentative battle between his morality and his deceit, he settles with the fact that a little bit of selfishness if necessary for self care, and that selflessness should come after you make sure that you’re okay.
